BAST AMRON LLP is pleased to announce that Julia Caruso has joined the firm as an Associate.
Julia Caruso practices in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and insolvency. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial intern to U.S. District Court Judge Stephen J. Murphy III. She also worked as a summer associate at Broad and Cassel.
Julia is a member of the Florida Bar. She received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, and was named to the Dean’s List. While in law school, Julia was a member of the Human Rights Clinic, where she provided pro bono legal assistance and successfully represented individuals in asylum proceedings. Julia was also a member of the National Security and Armed Conflict Law Review, and served as a research assistant for Professor Rachel H. Smith in legal research and writing.
Julia earned bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Michigan before pursuing her legal career.
