Hayley handles a broad range of cases focusing on matters involving litigation in bankruptcy cases, Assignment for the Benefit of Creditor cases, and out-of-court workouts. Hayley represents a broad spectrum of clients, including bankruptcy trustees, in their administration of Chapter 7 debtor cases, including all aspects of analyzing avenues of recovery, the sale of bankruptcy estate assets, and the pursuit of avoidance actions and other litigation claims. She also advises debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and creditors’ committees in relation to their rights in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court proceedings. Hayley also represents fiduciaries in various capacities, most frequently, assignee’s in state court assignments for the benefit of creditors.

Hayley served as 2021-2022 president of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida and has spearheaded the firm’s Business Advantage Forum since its inception, bringing together thought leaders to share best practices. Hayley was named by Chambers and Partners Up and Coming for Bankruptcy Litigation- Florida, 2023, as a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine in 2023 and was named among Florida Trend’s Legal Elite for 2021.

  • Counsel to Assignee in assignment for the benefit of creditors of Miami Perfume Junction, Inc., 2851 Investments, LLC, Doral International Products, LLC, and Clarus Group, Inc.
  • Counsel to Assignee in assignment for the benefit of creditors of Allied Aerofoam, LLC
  • Counsel to Assignee in assignment for the benefit of creditors of Panelfold, Inc.
  • Counsel to former officers and owners of Miami Metals f/k/a Republic Metals Corporation
  • Special litigation counsel to Curator for the Probate Estate of Victor Posner asserting claims against surety bond for removed personal representative’s breaches of fiduciary duty, which resulted in a recovery of $12 million for creditors
  • Special counsel to Chapter 7 Trustee in liquidation of precious metals Ponzi scheme, including prosecution of avoidance claims against over 75 transferees, and investigation and prosecution of substantive consolidation claims against non-debtor entities
  • Represented Chapter 7 debtor in negotiating $2.2M settlement with trustee, resulting in obtaining discharge and dismissal of 15 pending adversary proceedings
  • Counsel to Chapter 7 Trustee in over 200 individual and corporate chapter 7 cases, including investigation and prosecution of avoidance actions, objections to exemptions and discharge, and other litigation claims
  • Represented Liquidating Trustee in Advanced Blast Protection, Inc. Chapter 11 case
    Counsel to Assignors in assignment for the benefit of creditors of JugoFresh Holdings LLC and its subsidiaries
