Tanisha is litigator who practices complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on fraud and preferential fraudulent transfer investigation. Tanisha has worked on teams representing secured and unsecured creditors, assignees, receivers, and other court-appointed fiduciaries, prosecuting director, officer, and fiduciary liability claims. Tanisha additionally has experience in Civil Rights claims, working on a team representing claimants bringing suit against the City of Hialeah.
Tanisha actively supports the community as a part of the Dade Legal Aid Leadership Academy and Legal Service’s Young Professionals Council. Tanisha has additionally represented, pro bono, creditors in Bankruptcy.
Before joining Bast Amron, Tanisha worked as a research assistant at the University of Miami School of Law and worked as a clinical fellow at the Miami Law Innocence Clinic, dedicated to combatting injustice by exonerating wrongfully convicted individuals. Tanisha graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where she received the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award in International Human Rights Law, the CLEA Outstanding Clinical Team Award for the Innocence Clinic, and the University of Miami’s Litigation Skills Program award from Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton. Tanisha was a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Robin S. Rosenbaum, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Tanisha graduated from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Tanisha is a native of Hanau, Germany, and she is fluent in German.
Representative Experience
Director & Officer and Fiduciary Liability:
- Special litigation counsel to Liquidation Trust of Furniture Factory Ultimate Holding, L.P., retained to prosecute claims against the former officers, directors, and insiders
- Special litigation counsel to Liquidation Trust of Olympia Sports Acquisitions, LLC, retained to investigate and prosecute claims against the former officers, directors, and insiders
- Special Litigation Counsel to Virginia Burdette, Chapter 7 Trustee of the bankruptcy estate of Wireless Advocates, LLC, retained to investigate and prosecute breach of fiduciary, avoidance, and other claims against the former officers, directors, and insiders, which resulted in a $14 million recovery for creditors
- Special litigation counsel to Assignee of Crystal Cruises, LLC, retained to investigate and prosecute breach of fiduciary duty claims against the former officers and directors, which resulted in a $15.5 million recovery for creditors
Insolvency Representations:
- Counsel to the Assignee of Algo Capital LLC and subsidiaries, retained to investigate and prosecute fraudulent transfer against the former directors and officers.
Commercial Litigation:
- Representation of global talent agency prosecuting claims for breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, and fraud.
- Representation of judgment creditor prosecuting claims for fraudulent transfers and alter ego liability against Defendant company and its officers and directors.
- Special litigation counsel to judgment creditor in collection proceedings for a judgment rendered in a foreign litigation and domesticated in Florida.

- Tundidor v. Hernandez, No. 23-CV-22747-RKA, 2024 WL 4678925 (S.D. Fla. Nov. 5, 2024) (denying defendants’ motions to dismiss complaint)
- Landfall 2, Inc. v. Datascore-AI, LLC, No. 22-CV-80801-DMM, 2024 WL 1203273 (S.D. Fla. Mar. 21, 2024) (granting motion to compel discovery)
Speaking Engagements
- Organized and hosted an event for the Innocence Clinic featuring Jarrett Adams, who was wrongfully convicted for a crime he did not commit and was exonerated after a decade in prison. He is now an attorney.
