January 26th, 2024 - Posted in Brian L. Tannebaum, In The News

MIAMI, FL– January 26, 2024- Bast Amron Special Counsel Brian Tannebaum was quoted in a recent article by Connecticut Law Tribune, “Get a Lawyer – Even Though You Are One: Best Practices.” Veteran attorney Brian Tannebaum, Special Counsel at Bast Amron in Florida, often represents lawyers in disciplinary matters.

He said the two most common mistakes lawyers make when responding to the bar are neglecting to answer the questions and criticizing the client.

“Lawyers think they’re very smart people,” Tannebaum said. “When it comes to handling these on their own, they’re not. And it’s understandable why they are angry, and that’s why they need to take a step back and consult with a lawyer, maybe even hire a lawyer, and not be so quick to start typing.”
