MIAMI, FL – June 2, 2025 – Bast Amron is excited to welcome back Jacqueline Macia as a Law Clerk for the summer of 2025. Jacqueline is a rising 3L at the University of Miami School of Law, where she serves as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Miami Law Review and is a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. She has earned CALI Excellence Awards in Legal Communication & Research and currently serves as a Dean’s Fellow for that course.
Jacqueline previously worked with the firm and quickly became an asset to our team. She has also interned for the Honorable Melissa Damian at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, gaining experience in both civil and criminal legal issues.
Before law school, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Journalism, where she held leadership roles with Latin American Women in Business and Alpha Omicron Pi. Her professional background includes nonprofit event coordination with Style Saves and reporting for WUFT News on health, business, and immigration topics.
Fluent in Spanish, Jacqueline is passionate about legal research, writing, and advocacy. In her free time, she enjoys long-distance running, traveling, yoga, and fishing.
