MIAMI, FL – November 11, 2025 – Bast Amron proudly announces that Amanda Vasquez joined the firm as its newest Attorney.
Amanda Vasquez focuses her practice on bankruptcy, insolvency, and complex commercial litigation. Before joining the firm, she served as a Term Law Clerk to the Honorable Joshua P. Searcy of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas and as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Chief Judge Eduardo V. Rodriguez of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, where she assisted with legal research and the drafting of opinions interpreting the Bankruptcy Code.
Amanda’s experience includes supporting corporate counsel on commercial agreements and conducting extensive legal research and analysis across a range of business and bankruptcy matters. Her background has provided her with a strong foundation in litigation strategy, case management, and effective legal writing.
Amanda earned her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, where she received the Distinguished Pro Bono Award and the Book Award in International Sales & Arbitration. During law school, she served as Treasurer of the Business Law Society, Founding Secretary of the Hispanic Law Students Association, and Activities Director of the Women’s Law Symposium. She also completed a semester abroad at Erasmus School of Law in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, cum laude, from the University of Central Florida.
Amanda is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French and American Sign Language. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys cooking, fishing, exercising, traveling, and learning new languages.
