Scott-N.ThumbNBrown has been practicing in the bankruptcy/insolvency field for almost 16 years. He concentrates his practice on fiduciary representation, creditor’s rights, bankruptcy litigation and business reorganization. Scott has been a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee since 2011 and has also served in a variety of other fiduciary roles including as Chapter 11 trustee, Examiner, and Receiver, and has also served as mediator in several matters. Scott is also active in a variety of industry and community organizations and is a past president of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida. He has been recognized by his peers and numerous publications for professional excellence including Best Lawyers in America, Chambers and Partners, Martindale-Hubbell, South Florida Legal Guide, and Florida Super Lawyers. He received his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, magna cum laude.
