BRIAN TANNEBAUM MADE THE DBR’S LIST -THE NOT-SO-BAD BITS; 7 STORIES THAT DIDN’T SUCK IN 2020

January 12, 2021 by Maylynn

January 12th, 2021 - Posted in Brian L. Tannebaum, In The News

MIAMI, FL– January 12, 2021- Bast Amron Special Counsel, Brian Tannebaum made The Daily Business Review’s list of stories that didn’t suck in 2020.

Back in September of 2020, The Daily Business Review covered the webinar that Brian co-hosted on “Coping with Stress: Upheaval for Bar Applicants and New Lawyers in the Midst of a Global Pandemic.” The webinar was intended to address dealing with stress, particularly during this global pandemic, and the dangers of waiting to seek help.

“Whether attorneys feel the pandemic has affected them or not, Tannebaum acknowledged this is a bad time for everybody. “When you ask lawyer, ‘How is everything?’ they always say, ‘Everything’s fine,’ ” Tannebaum said. ” ‘How’s business?’ ‘Business is great.’ Everything is always just fine. And you know what? It’s not fine. Things aren’t fine, and I think one of the things we can do is have better conversations.” And to those struggling, Tannebaum said the chances are, ”there are plenty of lawyers in your law firm that experienced the same thing you did, and they’re still there.”

“ There are a lot of lawyers running around town who are well-respected who have serious problems, and nobody knows about it,” Tannebaum said. “You should never be afraid, especially in today’s day and age, to say, ‘I’m an alcoholic. I’m a drug addict. I have a mental disability.’ ”
