MIAMI, FL– November 16, 2020- BastAmron General Counsel Brian Tannebaum was quoted in Law.com| New Jersey Law Journal,  on the likelihood of Trump’s lawyers facing any ethics challenges over the presidential election. Along with other legal ethics experts, Brian provides insight regarding questions concerning the ethical ramifications or disciplinary action for lawyers filing baseless litigation.

“To rise above the level of frivolous litigation takes a good-faith basis for the lawyer filing the suit that it has merit, and it must be tangible, rather than a theory. But that’s not a very high standard.”

“If, in the end, you file this lawsuit, and you went through the proceedings, and the judge says, ‘I think Donald Trump gets three more votes,’ that’s not a frivolous lawsuit,”
