MIAMI, FL – January 12, 2026 – Bast Amron announces that Founding Partner Jeffrey Bast has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of Miami Waterkeeper, a Miami-based nonprofit dedicated to protecting South Florida’s waters through science-based advocacy, community engagement, and sustainable solutions.
A second-generation South Florida native, Jeff has a lifelong connection to the region’s waterways and a deep appreciation for their environmental, economic, and cultural importance. His appointment reflects a continued commitment to supporting organizations focused on preserving and protecting South Florida’s natural resources.
As a member of the Board of Trustees, Jeff will support Miami Waterkeeper’s mission to ensure clean, swimmable, drinkable, and fishable waters for the community, while helping advance initiatives that promote resilience, environmental stewardship, and long-term sustainability across the region.
