MIAMI, FL– June 25, 2020- Bast Amron Partner, Jeffrey Bast, will be speaking on a virtual panel, Wednesday, July 1st at 1 PM, on the topic of “COVID 2.0: What’s Next in the World of Workouts and Bankruptcies”. The webinar, hosted by the American Bar Association Business Section, will discuss emerging issues presented by the COVID-driven financial crisis as businesses seek to return to a “new normal,” including issues arising in connection with the CARES Act, unique challenges when negotiating workouts or seeking bankruptcy relief when confronted with a virtually complete loss of revenue and a high level of uncertainty, and the trends in the bankruptcy courts as they grapple with these challenges.
