JORGE MIRANDA, JR.
Senior Paralegal

Jorge L. Miranda, Jr. has been a dedicated bankruptcy paralegal since 2007 and has been an integral member of the Bast Amron team since May 2011. With nearly two decades of experience, Jorge has developed a comprehensive command of bankruptcy law, with a particular focus on complex Chapter 7 and 11 matters, including a deep expertise in Subchapter V cases. His work spans the full spectrum of bankruptcy proceedings, providing critical support in debtor, creditor, and trustee representations.
Jorge is highly skilled in managing all phases of bankruptcy cases—from initial filings through plan confirmation and post-confirmation matters—and plays a key role in navigating the unique procedural and strategic considerations presented in Subchapter V restructurings. His experience also extends extensively into bankruptcy litigation, including adversary proceedings and contested matters, where his attention to detail and command of procedural rules consistently add value to case strategy and execution.
Beyond his technical proficiency, Jorge is known for cultivating strong, trust-based relationships with clients. He approaches each case with a high level of professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness, recognizing that clients are often navigating financially and emotionally challenging circumstances. His ability to communicate clearly, anticipate client needs, and provide steady support throughout the process distinguishes him as both a skilled professional and a compassionate advocate behind the scenes.
Jorge completed an American Bar Association-approved paralegal program in 2012 and earned his associate’s degree from Miami-Dade College during that time. He is fluent in Spanish.
Outside the office, Jorge is a classically trained tenor, an avid golfer, and most importantly, a devoted husband and father of two.
