Steven is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on complex business disputes in both federal and state courts. Since earning his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2021, Steven has represented clients in a wide array of complex disputes involving commercial transactions, breaches of contract, business torts, fraud, and various statutory compliance issues. Steven regularly handles all phases of litigation from pre-suit investigation through discovery, motion practice, arbitration, and trial, and has independently argued dispositive motions and presented cases in arbitration and administrative hearings.

Before joining Bast Amron, Steven practiced at a Florida-based AmLaw 200 firm, where he represented clients in complex commercial matters as a member of the firm’s litigation practice group. Prior to that, Steven was an associate at a labor and employment boutique in Boston, where he represented clients in various matters before federal and state courts, arbitration panels, and regulatory agencies, serving as lead counsel on cases from inception to resolution. Steven also has experience in appellate advocacy, having successfully argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.

Originally from St. Louis, Steven graduated with honors from Saint Louis University in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. While in law school, Steven participated in the Boston College Civil Litigation Clinic as a student attorney, representing indigent clients in pro bono matters. Steven is conversationally fluent in Spanish.
