MIAMI, FL – June 22, 2026 – Bast Amron proudly announces that Steven Fonseca has joined the firm as its newest Attorney.
Steven focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation in both federal and state courts, where he has represented clients in a wide array of complex disputes involving commercial transactions, breaches of contract, business torts, fraud, and various statutory compliance issues. Steven regularly handles all phases of litigation from pre-suit investigation through discovery, motion practice, arbitration, and trial, and has independently argued dispositive motions and presented several cases in arbitration and administrative hearings.
Before joining Bast Amron, Steven practiced at a Florida-based AmLaw 200 firm, where he represented clients in complex commercial matters as a member of the firm’s litigation practice group. Prior to that, Steven was an associate at a labor and employment boutique in Boston, where he represented clients in various matters before federal and state courts, arbitration panels, and regulatory agencies. Steven also has experience in appellate advocacy, having successfully argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
Steven earned his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School in 2021, where he participated in the Civil Litigation Clinic as a student attorney, representing indigent clients in pro bono matters. He received his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Political Science from Saint Louis University in 2017.
Steven is also conversationally fluent in Spanish.
