MIAMI, FL- May 26, 2026- Bast Amron is pleased to welcome William Espinosa as a Summer Clerk for 2026. Our summer program is crafted to offer law students a dynamic and enriching experience that blends intellectual rigor with practical insight into the legal profession.
William is a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Miami School of Law, where he holds a 3.58 GPA (Top 33%) and earned a spot on the Dean’s List in Fall 2024. He is actively involved with the Hispanic Legal Society, International Legal Society, Cardozo Jewish Legal Society, and Cuban American Bar Association, and has competed in the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Competition. He is currently working at the Eleanor R. Cristol and Judge A. Jay Cristol Bankruptcy Pro Bono Assistance Clinic, where he assists low-income clients with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions.
William graduated summa cum laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, maintaining a 3.91 GPA and earning Dean’s List honors for seven semesters. His business background, which includes roles in sales administration and business development, gives him a strong foundation in client relations and professional communication that he now brings to his legal career.
His legal experience includes serving as a Law Clerk at the Law Office of Arturo Taquechel, where he conducts legal research, drafts motions and memoranda, and supports attorneys in criminal defense matters. He also serves as a Social Media & Outreach Research Assistant at the University of Miami School of Law, supporting faculty initiatives and institutional branding efforts.
William is fluent in Spanish and brings a genuine passion for bankruptcy and commercial law to the team.
