MIAMI – May 30, 2018 – Dana Quick, of counsel at Bast Amron, spoke at the 7th Annual Circuit Court & Litigation Boot Camp: The Nuts and Bolts (FL) Presented by Pincus Professional Education on June 1, 2018,  from 10:50 – 11:20 A.M. at the Gallery One – a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel located at 2670 East Sunrise Boulevard Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33304. Quick spoke on the topic  Motions Directed at Pleadings-Motions to dismiss, Motions for a more definite statement, and Motions to strike. “Pincus Professional Education has put on its premier Circuit Court Boot Camp for seven years for a reason – it’s that good.” This program delves into general litigation skills and strategies as well as providing an inside look at, and advice about, litigating in Circuit Court. Special Counsel to Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in Advanced Blast Protection Chapter 11 case investigating and pursuing director and officer liability claims, resulting in a recovery of $2 million to creditors. Counsel to Trustee investigating and prosecuting director and officer liability claims in Astor & Black Chapter 7 case, resulting in a recovery of $2.35 million to creditors. The operator of short-term corporate housing in a Chapter 11 confirmation contested by the senior secured lender, ultimately confirming the plan over the creditor’s objection. The purchaser of a foreclosure judgment against a church in Chapter 11. A masonry company that provided services for large construction projects around South Florida in an assignment for the benefit of creditors.
